Quick update

Thursdays are now mine and Ethan's favorite day. We have started going to toddler story time at the library. We meet our friends Sean and Andrea there, and Ethan just loves it! He is usually heading right up to the front by the time we are finished. After that we head over to Mcalisters our favorite lunch place. I promise to get some pictures of story time next week.




Here is Ethan eating a pickle at lunch. The past 2 weeks he has grabbed it right off my plate and ate the whole thing.

Last night we finally got an iPad. I have read several articles about how great they are for kids with developmental delays, and I believe every bit of it. Nathaniel loves it, and he has learned to use it so fast. I'm going to work on getting a video of him up.

That's all for tonight. I am one tired momma!

Wednesday playdate

First off I just want to put out there that I am going to do better with blogging this year. I want to do at least one post a week, and more would be nice. I really want to be able to look back and remember all the things going on right now in our lives.

This morning was our first day back at school since the snow break. PTL! I loved having us all at home, but Nathaniel is so much happier when he is in school. I need to start working now to figure out how to keep him busy this summer. There will definitely be lots of zoo trips in our future! 

I  need some advice from those of you with older children. Did your 3 year olds go through a phase where they just had an attitude. It's been a rough couple of weeks around our house, and I'm just not sure how to handle Nathaniel's new attitude. Please tell me this is just a short phase.

After dropping Nathaniel off at school, Ethan and I went to pick up Avery. Her mommy had a long doctors appointment and needed someone to watch her.  It is no fun having to keep up with toddlers at the doctors office, and we were glad to help.  Here are some pictures of our morning.

I think our morning was a success, and I am now enjoying some nice quiet time while the boys sleep. 

Snow Day!

We loved the early January snow day. I think we had around 5 inches which is kind of rare for this area. Nathaniel absolutely loved the snow! I'm pretty sure he would have stayed out all day no matter how cold he got.  Ethan really liked it too. The only part he didn't like was not being able to walk in the snow.  He decided to stick to the street and was happy.  He really liked watching Nathaniel play with daddy. I have to say that there are so many perks to Stefan working for a school. He had 2 full weeks off at Christmas, and he had today off because they were closed.  We loved it!

I keep seeing all my Arkansas friends talking about more snow so I guess we have more on the way. We already know that Nathaniel will be out of school tomorrow. I hope Stefan gets to stay home too.
